1. How to plan a wedding in Sicily

Wondering how to plan a wedding in Sicily? From choosing your venue to decorating the church, from catering to cake design, from the photographer to hotel bookings, guest transfers, live music, the open bar, invitations and stationery: I take care of all of it. Smile, because I’ll help you discover how to plan a dream wedding in Sicily. Be happy, and enjoy every step of the journey.

A perfect wedding involves so many things that nothing can be left to chance, not even the unexpected. One of the greatest gifts of a wedding planner is understanding what a couple truly wants and turning it into reality. I help couples imagine, organise and finally live their dream day. Together we’ll create the theme of your wedding, choose its design and style, take care of every detail with refinement and good taste, and plan your guests’ seating.

2. Paperwork, appointments and suppliers

I take care of all the legal and administrative paperwork and manage your pre-wedding appointments, including bachelor and bachelorette parties. I work with a wide network of professional suppliers, among them the best florists, caterers, designers, fashion designers and photographers, who will help you make every detail perfect before, during and after your wedding. Relax and enjoy yourselves: tell me your love story, and I’ll write the pages of your beautiful wedding.

3. Beyond Sicily

My heart is in Sicily, but I don’t stop here. I’m available to organise your wedding in other regions of Italy and abroad as well. If you have another place in mind, tell me about it: together we’ll look at what’s possible, I’ll find the right suppliers on the ground, and I’ll follow you with the same method I always use.

4. Let’s get excited together

Every celebration deserves careful planning. Most destination weddings include several events: wedding dinners, a farewell brunch, guided tours. I plan and coordinate all of them to make your experience unique and unforgettable, and I take care of every aspect of the event. Thanks to my network of suppliers, I can offer whatever you need, whether it’s a ceremony, a party, a birthday, an anniversary, an event, a wedding, a romantic getaway or a honeymoon. It will be a success!

5. Design: the part I love most

Design is the part I love most: this is where creativity takes the stage! Every wedding is unique and extraordinary, whether it’s in a castle, a vineyard or by the sea. My work begins with listening, understanding and empathy with you. Details make any event more precious, and I love creating them: unique, handmade details, from the precious ring box to the guests’ place cards and the wedding stationery, so that everything can be completely personalised.

It takes experience and constant research into trends, colours, materials and styles to create a personal and moving atmosphere. Every little detail matters, because it tells your love story.

6. The wedding cake

The wedding cake is one of the most magical and emotional moments, an offering to your new life as a couple. I design a dedicated setting to welcome it, and the cake itself is made by master pastry chefs according to your tastes.

7. Flowers

Flowers are one of the essential elements of a wedding. Choosing the ones that best suit the style or theme of your day is an important decision: they will enhance the beauty of your dress and, with the bouquet and floral arrangements, create a unique frame for your celebration. Together with expert floral designers, I’ll recommend the flowers that best reflect your personality, your style, the theme, the type of ceremony, the chosen venue and the season.

8. Photographers and videographers

Professional photographers and videographers capture the unique images and moments of your wedding. Photography is art: it immortalises faces and events and tells beautiful stories. A photo reportage captures every emotion and documents every detail: the glances, the smiles, the joy, the happy tears, the warmth, the hugs. Unforgettable memories of your special day.

9. Hairstylists and make-up artists

Professional hairstylists and expert make-up artists will enhance every bride’s natural beauty. You’ll look radiant on the most beautiful day of your life.

10. Table setting (mise en place)

Mise en place, literally “put in place”, means the complete setting of the table: underplates, plates and crystal, glasses and cutlery. Setting, decorating and enriching your tables makes your wedding more dramatic and original. Embroidery, centrepieces, place cards, candles, flowers, chairs, menus: everything is arranged as an extra gesture of care for your guests, active protagonists of a special day, so that the food and the time shared together are even more enjoyable. A beautifully set table adds magic and atmosphere to your event.

11. Lighting

Lighting is decisive for a reception that moves your guests. By shaping light I create events with a strong visual impact: candles, string lights, illuminations, artist projections on walls and palaces, stage sets. Light can enhance a venue by highlighting its strengths, and it can create magical atmospheres.

12. Music and entertainment

To entertain and delight your guests, I select musicians, singers, dancers and children’s entertainers.

13. Guest accommodation and transfers

I manage your guests’ accommodation and the transfer service: from the airport, and from their accommodation to the place of the celebration. On request I can also arrange a babysitter and car rental.

14. The venue

I’ll help you find the ideal venue for your dream. You can choose from historic palaces, old farmhouses (masserie), golden beaches, private gardens, castles, towers, country villas and prestigious venues in UNESCO cities.

15. Banqueting and catering

“Banqueting” covers all the work of preparing food and drinks for a wedding or other events, while “catering” is the supply of food. In everyday language the two terms are often confused, but when planning your wedding the choice matters greatly. We are Italian, and eating and drinking well is essential to us; in other cultures too, the wedding lunch or dinner is key to spending an unforgettable day. I’ll help you choose your banqueting and catering, and I organise the open bar, the selection of wines and spirits, cigar corners and a bespoke confetti table.

16. Invitations and stationery

The design of your wedding comes to life with the invitations and continues in the decoration of the reception venue and the church. Invitations are the calling card of your day and anticipate the style and type of wedding you’ve chosen. Every accessory is personalised around the common thread (the fil rouge) of the whole event.

17. Tableau, menus and confetti table

I can offer you a wide choice of wedding invitations, and their design will be carried through to the venue. The banquet area will be furnished with the seating chart (tableau de mariage) and the menus, usually placed on each guest’s plate and decorated with ribbons, flowers or twine according to the theme of the event. At the end of the party, after the cutting of the cake, the confetti table can be enriched with small cards listing the flavours: a gift to thank your guests for celebrating with you.

18. Ceremony, dress and rehearsal dinner

I work with English-, French-, German-, Russian-speaking celebrants, and celebrants of other languages, who are happy to officiate any kind of ceremony: religious, civil or symbolic. I can advise you on choosing your wedding dress and ceremony outfit, and organise the rehearsal dinner before the wedding.

19. On request

If you have something special in mind, I can arrange it: from fireworks for a spectacular finale to babysitting or car rental. Just ask.
